Happy St. Patty's Day!

Today I am really missing Ireland. Actually, I miss it just about everyday, but today I was reminded of the awesome time Michael and I had there this past summer. Seriously, if you ever get the change to go, take it! I can't wait to go back and ask hubby at least once a week when we can go back. :)
In honor of St. Patrick, who actually wasn't Irish (random thing we learned on a tour in Ireland), here are some of my favorite Ireland pics!

O'Connell Street- Dublin
Oh how I LOVED the Dublin doors
Guinness Factory- Dublin

U2 Studios - Dublin

Wicklow Mountains National Park- Another absolute favorite

Galway Bay

Looking over Galway Bay

Cliffs of Moher
Ok, I know that's a lot more than a few, but I could keep going. Instead I'm going to leave you to the sound of Ireland! :)

My Little Sis is Getting Married...

Christa and Jonathan got in engaged back in January. Yes, I know I'm a little (okay a lot) late in posting, but that doesn't take away my excitement for them!

Wedding plans are in full swing and I'm not gonna lie...I am really enjoying wedding planning again! :)

An "American Orphan"

I've been lacking in things to write lately, so much has happened in the last month, yet not much I really care to share or talk about in the blog world. I'm not really sure why, but none of it really seems blog worthy.

I know I made my new years resolution to take a pic everyday, and I have, but I haven't uploaded any since day 5. On day 7 we found out that my grandfather, Pop, had passed away. He had been sick for a couple of months, but we weren't really expecting it to happen so soon.
Ever since we got back from the funeral, it just didn't seem right to go on like nothing had happened and blog about having a long day at the office or the fact that our all time favorite show, 24, was back on. It just kind of put things in a different perspective, not that life doesn't go on, but just to enjoy it more than choose to complain about anything and everything.

Enough of my rambling, on to the title of this post...my boss sent the below link out to our team on Monday morning she said this article would really hit hard and man was she right. Please take a second to read Brian's post about an "American Orphan". http://www.thinkkindness.org/blog/?p=112#content

Day 5: Spreading the LUV

For those of you that don't know, Southwest is pretty well known for being a fun luving company. We are also very involved in each other's lives, so when you hear someone refer to us as the Southwest family, they mean it.

One of the things that is honestly required is to celebrate milestones in coworkers lives; this can be birthdays, anniversaries, babies, a new car, you name it! Well some of you may remember my blog last year about spreading Christmas cheer in a coworkers cube. This is one example of our luv!

Tomorrow is a good friend and coworkers birthday and to celebrate with him we trashed (i mean decorated) his cube. How do you think it turned out?

Day 3: Reality

Reality hit hard today!

(yes, I like to keep it really dark in my cube. Really I just need to go to the eye dr. since this is the only way I can see/focus on my computer.) :)

Day 3: Pillow Shopping

Michael and I got a Bed Bath & Beyond giftcard for Christmas and we are in desperate need of new pillows, so I convinced him to go shopping for them today. As I am looking at pillows I turn around and see this:

and a few minutes later this:

Such a dork, but I love him! He said it's the only way to tell if it's comfortable! :) No new pillows for us yet, I think we decided to save a little $ and go back and get the tempur-pedic pillows.

Day 2: Bauer

Sweet puppy Bauer! He turned a year old on Christmas Eve.
